Fusion is a forward thinking and innovative operator of leisure facilities in London and nationwide, we are looking for a various instructors to work in our Barton Leisure Centre on a casual basis, specifically: Pilates Aqua Zuma Spin Step Please state clearly in your application which classes you are interested in teaching. We are looking to increase the classes offered as well as providing cover for classes.

• To supervise activities in the gym and studio, operate the equipment in a manner consistent with safe working practices, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the facility.
• To undertake all day to day cleaning and maintenance of the equipment and fittings to the highest possible standards, bringing to the attention of the Centre Management any faults or major repairs.
• To maintain customer records of programme of activities and lifestyle programmes.
• To assist the members of the public in their use of the facilities, encouraging maximum use.
• To assist in the effective operations of the activity programme by coaching / teaching, where appropriate.
• Undertaking and/or assisting in devising individual fitness assessments, programmes and testing, exercise prescription, GP referrals and specialist inductions.
• To assist in the communication and promotion of the centre's services.
• To assist in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the facility, on a shift rota basis.
• To establish and maintain good relationships with our customers, ensuring that an appropriate ambience is maintained in the facility making customers feel welcomed and valued, with due regard for the Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy and Customer service standards.
• To ensure that the centre is secure and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and repair.
• To ensure the safety and welfare of staff and users of the centre through the operation of all Health and Safety procedures and standards and be aware of your role in managing emergencies, accident reporting and reporting defects as necessary.
• Assist customers with regard to lost property, first aid, use of equipment and provide general information regarding the centre.  Deal with complaints in a sensitive manner.

• Qualifications in your specialism
• Worked in a similar environment, although training can be given!
• Required to work outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends, public holidays
