Hello,

Surrey Docks Approved Training companies Logos. AALA, BCU and RYA

Following the £2.39m redevelopment in 2010, Surrey Docks Watersports Centre provides the local community with state-of-the-art gym and exercise studios overlooking Greenland Dock as well as a year-round extensive watersports programme.

In addition to the new gym, the centre offers a wide range of over 100 fitness classes each week including – Zumba®, Body Pump, Pilates, yoga, funky aerobics with a dedicated indoor cycle studio with sessions every day. The centre also provides a Silver Active gym programme for the over 60s.

Our unique location is ideal for novices to learn how to sail and through our Royal Yachting Association courses existing sailors can improve their skills. In addition adults and children are taught, from the age of eight years, how to kayak, canoe, windsurf and powerboat (from 12 years).

Why not download or pop in and pick up our new 2012 watersports programme, or join in a wide variety of over 100 studio classes at the centre each week?

Surrey Docks Watersports Centre is home to Tideway, sailing for people with disabilities, and is the Royal Yachting Association's South East Centre for Excellence.

This centre is brought to you by Southwark Council, in partnership with Fusion, a highly experienced sports and leisure organisation. As a registered charity, Fusion continually reinvest to improve and develop what’s on offer in your community.
