Swimming is a healthy activity that can be enjoyed by people of any age and ability. It offers a variety of health benefits and you can swim on your own or as part of a group workout.

We offer various levels of swimming at our centres:

Swimming for under 5's

  • Aqua babies for children 4-18 months old
    Bring you little one to explore the joys of the water through song and play.
     
  • Ducklings - for children 18months to 5 years
    Work with your child to develop confidence and movement in the water through song, play and basic instruction. There are 5 duckling badges and certificates.
     
  • Cygnets - for 3-5 year olds
    Continue to develop your childs confidence and movement in the water.
    Classes are suitable for children who can swim 5m on their front and back and can stand up in our learner pool.

City of Oxford Swim Club
The successful swimming club train at Barton Leisure Centre, Ferry Leisure Centre and Temple Cowley Pools.
