The Sports and Community Development Team is dedicated to increasing participation in sport within the London Borough of Hounslow.
The team works with local stakeholders including schools and sports clubs to increase participation in physical activity and sport within the London Borough of Hounslow.
Working with these partners we organise teams for The Balfour Beatty London Youth Games and Virgin Mini London Marathon as well as running our own Urban Games. Read on for more information.

London Youth Games 2012 - sporting chance for Hounslow children
Finals on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July 2012. Each year over 25,000 young Londoners take part in the games in over 30 different sports. This is a fantastic opportunity to represent your Borough in the largest sporting event in Europe.

National Lottery Olympic Park Run
The National Lottery will be hosting the first ever public event in the Olympic Stadium. The National Lottery Olympic Park Run will offer the chance for 5,000 participants to be the first to cross the Olympic finish line. It will take place on 31 March 2012 and the five mile course will be contained within the Olympic Park.

The Urban Games
