The Swimathon Weekend 2012
The Swimathon Weekend 2012, 27-29 April, will give thousands of swimmers the opportunity to raise vital funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Sport Relief through Swimathon’s established distance challenges and the new ‘Big Splash Mile for Sport Relief’.
In 2012, Swimathon has joined forces with British Swimming's and BBC's Big Splash, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Sport Relief to promote what is hoped will be the biggest and best swimming event ever, the Swimathon Weekend. A breakdown of the new challenge/charity format is below

Big Splash Mile for Sport Relief
- Mile

The Swimathon Weekend 2012 challenges are designed to suit all levels of fitness, ability and age.
Don’t worry if you can’t make a session over the Swimathon Weekend 2012 – you can always register for the SimplySwim for Marie Curie Cancer Care; a challenge which allows you to swim your own chosen distance, at any pool, and at any time.
Your efforts in Swimathon will be helping to support the work of Marie Curie Cancer Care, and your efforts in Big Splash will be helping to support the work of Sport Relief.
